I was suppose to get my passport at the pen centre but it was closed for a robbery and I told this lady I needed my passport for the next day. Then I got a call from this location that they have my passport. Pretty commendable on her part. 5 star... im impressed.

Better experience compared to many reviews, arrived at 5h30, out by 9h00 with green slip to come back to pick up passport. It was a simple child renewal gone wrong, submitted Feb11. Thank you to the tall slender security guard and the agent who approved the green slip. 😀

A surprisingly great experience at a government building. Jay was excellent and gave us very clear answers to all our questions which really put us at ease. We went about an hour before close on a Friday and were in and out in 10 minutes. Thanks Jay!

I booked my passport renewal appointment about one month ahead for 9am. For some reason, there very few appointments available for the day I wanted at the main passport office at Pen Center so I opted to attend the Ontario Street site instead which had many appointment dates and times available. When the day came I arrived a couple minutes early and needless to say I was out by 9:07am!! Book an appointment online ahead of time and save yourself ALOT of time! This might be the quickest In and Out I've ever had at a government office. Staff were efficient and to the point but that's what I expect. No fluff no frills.

Went to this location today after the Pen Centre location advised they are only accepting passport applications under urgent grounds (passport needed within 45 days). I arrived at Ontario Street just after noon and was surprised that there was no line—perhaps due to the rain. I had brought a novel and some snacks anticipating my being there for the entire afternoon, BUT I was in and out within the hour! All of the staff from the security guard to the passport clerks were pleasant and helpful. I had all of my documents including a completed general adult passport form and was pleasantly surprised when the clerk (cannot remember her name) advised me of the new policies surrounding passport applications. I was able to renew my passport instead of applying for a new one, which was great. All in all, a pleasant and efficient experience given all of the backlogs being experienced.
