I have an 8.2 x 5.6 ft den in a 1+1 apartment and I am looking for help with two tasks: 1. Installing a sliding door for the den. The entryway to the den is composed of two slightly offset, but parallel walls. The walls are offset by a few inches, so I would like advice on what to build, and help installing the most elegant solution. 2. Installing a Murphy bed/desk. This will probably require drilling into the wall.
